Get Involved in My City Government

Participation in government is a privilege that all citizens share in a democracy. Almost anyone can participate in the operations of local government. Being involved in your community's local government is a form of service to others, and you can get involved in a variety of ways.

We all shape the city we live in. Get involved in city government by attending a council meeting, volunteering in parks or at the library, joining an advisory body or commission, attending City University, being a regular voter, or joining the CERT team! These are just some of the things you can do to get involved in your city and community, and the City of New Braunfels offers a wide variety of programs and initiatives to help you.
