Public Information Requests


Requests for Public Information must be made in writing and should contain as much information as possible about the information you are requesting in order to expedite a response.  Please remember that requests should be for documents or other information that already exists.  Government organizations (like NBPD) are not required to answer questions, perform legal research, or comply with continuing requests to supply information on a periodic basis since that information has not yet been prepared.  Written requests can be sent in by U.S. Mail, submitted online, or submitted in person at the New Braunfels Police Department Headquarters (550 Landa Street New Braunfels TX 78130).  We recommend that you keep a copy of your request and proof of receipt for your personal records.
