About the Pass

In 2016 City Council approved a recommendation from the River Advisory Committee to implement a revised River Management Fee and collection procedures. The fee will apply only to non-residents. At the same time, a Resident River Pass was approved that allows New Braunfels residents to tube without paying the River Management Fee.

New Braunfels Residents, who reside inside the corporate city limits, can receive the Resident River Pass at no charge to be able to avoid paying the River Management Fee. Residents who obtain a Resident River Season Pass will avoid paying the $2 River Management Fee.
