Spanish Classes Return to Westside Community Center

The Westside Community Center (WCC) will be offering free Beginner/Intermediate Spanish classes starting Friday, February 24th. The sessions will run eight weeks and end on Friday, April 14th.

“We are excited to have Mabel Brown back this spring to teach the Spanish classes at WCC,” said Jennifer Hernandez, WCC’s Outreach Coordinator. “The Westside Community Center enjoyed hosting Beginning Spanish classes last summer and we look forward to these new Friday morning sessions.”

The classes will focus on beginning verb conjugations and emphasizing the importance of conversational phrases and day to day activities in Spanish.

“Mrs. Brown is ready to return to WCC to teach a new class of students who are motivated about learning the Spanish language,” says Hernandez.   “We are thankful to the Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library for their support in offering these free classes to the general public.”

To register, go to the New Braunfels Public Library Calendar and click on the start date (February 24th) to register for the eight week session.  Call the WCC Office, at 830-221-4630 with any questions about the classes.

The Westside Community Center is located at 2932 S. IH 35 New Braunfels, TX 78130.
