The City of New Braunfels will host its 2nd Annual City Budget Input Meeting on Tuesday, May 9th in the Tejas Room located at the New Braunfels City Hall, beginning at 6:00 p.m. City hall is located at 550 Landa Street.
“Good government listens,” New Braunfels City Manager Robert Camareno said. “We understand that citizens are entitled to more than just a transparent view of our government, we also want their participation and collaboration. This meeting is structured to not only provide information to attendees but also to facilitate the gathering of input from them.”
Camareno also noted that the process of developing the FY 2017-18 budget includes many components, including multiple opportunities for citizen contributions. Residents are encouraged to provide their opinions at this community input meeting, at the public hearings being scheduled for August, and via the City of New Braunfels FY 2017-18 Budget Input Survey available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NBCityBudget through May 31st.
