The Master Plan serves to document the community’s overall vision for the project, establishes expectations, identifies constraints and opportunities and serves to help communicate basic design and development standards for future city decision makers and
an eventual project developer. The planning effort
outlines the boundaries of what will and will not be acceptable to the
community once a developer is engaged to realize the vision. By
identifying these issues early on, highlighting the challenges and
opportunities and providing resolution to these legitimate questions, the
community will be able to attract high quality developers to place their
capital at risk in order to see the project realized.
