The New Braunfels Public Library is starting a monthly Memory Café on the 1st Friday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
“November is Alzheimer’s awareness month, so we wanted to start our new program
- Memory Café - which is a gathering time for those experiencing memory loss
and their caregivers,” commented Toni Davenport, Adult Services
Librarian. “Alzheimer’s and dementia affect a lot of people, so we
decided to start a monthly Memory Café, which is a time where we’ll have
activities - such as music or art - as well as guest speakers talking about
things like stress busting tips. It’s also a great time to meet other
people in the community and discuss common struggles or simply make new
program is free, open to the public and no registration is necessary. It
