New Braunfels residents are encouraged to provide input for the Comal River Improvement Project by participating in an online survey now through Tuesday, July 24th.
In 2017, City Council approved a contract with Freese and Nichols to perform an analysis on the City’s Comal River recreational facilities and properties. A draft report of the existing conditions has been developed, with areas identified for maintenance and improvements. The public input process will look at those areas identified and seek residents’ comments and feedback on which improvements the community would like to see the City undertake.
A public input meeting for this project was held on July 10th to provide citizens with information on the project findings and to take their comments and recommendations on improvements. The online survey has been developed to provide those who were unable to attend the meeting with an opportunity to express their opinions on this project.
The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/comalriver.
