Six Local Writers to Speak at Library's Author Fair

The public will once again have the opportunity to meet and connect with local authors when the New Braunfels Public Library hosts its Local Author Fair on Saturday, October 20th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

“During the first hour, authors will speak about themselves, their books, and their writing process for about 10 minutes each,” said Adult Services Librarian Toni Davenport. “Then, in the second hour, attendees will have a chance to visit with each author, buy their books, or get them signed. This event really gives us a great opportunity to support our local authors.”

Six authors will be attending this year: Lee Hunnicutt, Michael Jackson, Thomas Jones, Martha Miller, Peter Palmieri, and Eva Silverfein.

The program is free and open to the public. The Local Author Fair and numerous other programs at the New Braunfels Public Library are made possible with the support of the Friends of the New Braunfels Public Library.
