In collaboration with Bexar and Guadalupe counties, the City has implemented the TriCounty Alert System as part of an on-going effort to notify citizens of significant natural or man-made emergencies in the area. Citizens can now receive alerts on a variety of electronic devices, including cell phones. Alert preferences can be set to areas relevant to home, business, school, or the home of a relative.
