The City of New Braunfels believes that an active pedestrian realm in the Downtown area increases commerce and encourages locals and visitors to experience the Wunder of Downtown New Braunfels. To ensure that the sidewalks in Downtown harmoniously accommodate pedestrian movement and support commerce, the City permits private businesses to place certain items on the sidewalk right of way in certain circumstances.
