About the Event Relive the spirit of historic New Braunfels in this night time guided tour of the Comal Cemetery. Established in 1868, the Comal Cemetery is the burial ground for some of New Braunfels founders’ and notable citizens. Join us at Soul Searching to hear the stories of these illustrious souls told by actors as living history portrayals.
This year, we will be celebrating the 175th anniversary of New Braunfels by telling the stories of its first founders: Christian/Karl Klinger, Daniel Murchison, Heinrich Startz, Emil Mergele Sr., Auguste Ervendberg Wiegreffe, and Eleonora Reinarz Lindheimer.
This event is family friendly and funds raised will be used for cemetery improvements. This is a walking tour; golf cart tours are available for individuals who need assistance walking. Tour by golf cart is offered during the first tour of both nights. Please be sure to request a "cart tour" when purchasing your tickets.
Event Parking Parking and check-in for this event will be at Cypress Bend Park located at 503 Peace Avenue. Guests will be taken to the Comal Cemetery by hayride.
