Groundbreaking for Fire Station 3 occurred on September 24th. The new station designed by BRW architecture will involve constructing a new approximately 12,000 SF fire station on the existing city-owned property on Hanz Drive, replacing the current Fire Station 3 at that location. The station will sleep up to 6 and have 3 apparatus bays. It will also include secure parking, common space, gym/workout space, commercial-grade kitchen, EMS storage, bunker gear storage, and a day room. Seidel Construction is building the project.
