On Aug. 1, 2018, at approximately 10pm, officers with the New Braunfels Police Department were called to the 400 block of Landa St. for a report of a robbery. The victim, a 26-year old ride-sharing driver, reported that two males had ordered a ride and entered the car when he arrived at their location in the 700 block of Bell St. Once inside the vehicle, both males brandished handguns and demanded cash from the driver. The males then assaulted the driver by striking him in the head. They took an undisclosed amount of cash from the driver before fleeing from the vehicle on foot. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries from the assault and he refused transport to the hospital.
Investigating officers were then able to track down the two suspects to an apartment in the 700 block of Howard St. where two males were taken into custody without further incident. Following their arrest, a search of their apartment also led to the discovery of prescription medication that neither of the suspects had the proper prescriptions for, along with approximately half a pound of marijuana.
Both of the suspects, 20-year old Zion Jacob Limon (below - top) and 18- year old Joshua Elijah Limon (below - bottom), were then transported to the Comal County Jail and both were booked on the following charges:
