The New Braunfels Police Department is seeking tips from the public following a Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Hit and Run crash, and Comal County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
The incident happened at approximately 2:30am Sunday (Sept. 16, 2018) near the intersection of Comal Avenue and Nacogdoches Street. A 53-year old male was walking along Comal Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle, causing life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported by ground EMS to SAMMC (San Antonio Military Medical Center) in critical condition.
The suspect vehicle is described as a red or dark red SUV, possibly with front end damage.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact New Braunfels Police or Comal County Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or grand jury indictment.
