Now Hiring - New Braunfels Police Department


NBPD is currently hiring Full-Time Police Officers, and we are accepting applications from both Certified and Non-Certified candidates.

First year starting annual base pay for certified police officers is $52,500.00 with a $3,000 sign-on and retention incentive (paid out in three $1,000 annual lump sum payments). {Please note: This benefit is for Certified Police Officer candidates only)

Additional pay benefits available for special assignments, bilingual ability, and higher-level education & certification.
Benefits include: Paid vacation/sick leave/holidays, military leave, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

In order to become a full time New Braunfels Police Officer you must be at least 21 years old (but no older than 44), be a Certified Texas Peace Officer or be eligible for NBPD’s non-certified program, and be able to pass a background check & polygraph exam, psychological evaluation, and physical agility tests.

The application deadline is August 14, 2020 and the written civil service exam is set for September 19, 2020.
