The City of New Braunfels learned this week that its Parks and Recreation Department has earned national accreditation from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)
through its Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). This national distinction recognizes the quality of services and experiences offered to the New Braunfels community through the Parks and Recreation Department.
“We are excited to announce that New Braunfels Parks and Recreation has joined an elite group of park and recreation agencies across the country this week by earning this national accreditation,” said Stacey Dicke, New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Director. “New Braunfels is now one of only 172 CAPRA-accredited park and recreation agencies in the United States.”
CAPRA is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies and is a valuable measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management, and service to the community. Achieving CAPRA accreditation is the best way to demonstrate that an agency and its staff provides its community with the highest level of service.
