City Councilmember James Blakey to Host Virtual District 6 Citizen Forum

Councilmember James Blakey, the District 6 representative on New Braunfels City Council, will host a citizens forum on Thursday, March 11th, at 6pm.

Due to the ongoing response to COVID-19, this forum will be held virtually using the Zoom online video conference platform.

The forum will begin with comments from Councilmember Blakey followed by updates from Public Works Director Greg Malatek, including an overview of the 2021 Street Maintenance Plan, which includes crack sealing, pothole and base repair, chip seals, as well as milling and overlay work.

“I would like to invite those living in District 6 to join our Citizen Forum and to speak up and discuss local topics such as streets and other issues. I look forward to your participation,” said Councilmember James Blakey.

The forum will conclude with a general question and answer session.  To attend the virtual forum on Thursday March 11th at 6pm, simply go to www.nbtexas.org/district6forum.
