The City of New Braunfels will no longer offer video conference options (such as Zoom) for public meetings effective September 10th, 2021.
Due to a variety of factors, including diminishing public participation, a strain on staff resources, and aligning with Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s recent decision to return to normal Open Meetings Act regulations, the City of New Braunfels will no longer offer video conference options (such as Zoom) for public meetings effective September 10th, 2021.
In New Braunfels, City Council meetings and various other public meetings, including Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment meetings, are available live on the City of New Braunfels website. Regular New Braunfels City Council meetings are also available on television on Spectrum Channel 21 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Once the meetings have concluded, the recordings of those meetings are also available on the City of New Braunfels website.
Additionally, those who are unable to attend meetings always have the option to contact their City Council representative in order to ask or submit questions, get more information, or share their opinion. Please visit the New Braunfels City Council web page for information on how to contact your representative.
