May I rent my house on a short-term (daily/weekly) basis?

Short term rentals are one- or two-family dwellings that are rented for overnight lodging for less than 30 days at a time. Hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, resort properties, apartment unit rentals, or dwellings that are rented for a period longer than 30 days are not considered short-term rentals. Short-term rentals are prohibited in residential zoning districts. You can check the zoning of your property on the City’s Interactive Zoning map.

For more information please visit the City’s Short Term Rental Webpage. You can also complete the City’s online Short Term Rental Eligibility Form and a Staff member will email you a determination as to whether you are able to operate a short-term rental at your property.

You can also review the short-term rental ordinance here.
